Resetting Your GE Link LEDs

Resetting these smart lights manually also follows the same steps as resetting Osram Lightify LEDs and WeMo LEDs. You will cycle the smart bulbs between on and off, pausing for 3 seconds with each cycle.

That means you will turn the lights on for 3 seconds and turn them off for 3 seconds. You will repeat this cycle five times.

Your smart bulbs will slowly pulse to let you know the manual reset was successful. You can then connect it to your preferred smart speaker for hands-free control.

How to Reset Cree Connected LEDs

You will manually reset these smart bulbs using your light switch. You will switch your smart bulbs on for 2 seconds and then turn them off for 2 seconds.

You will repeat this on/off cycle three times, and the manual reset will be successful.

How to Reset TCP LEDs

You will start with the smart bulbs switched off. You will then switch them on and off from the wall switch.

You will repeat this on/off cycle three times and then switch on the smart bulbs and leave them.

How to Reset Nanoleaf Aurora

You have three ways to reset these smart bulbs. Each reset method depends on what you’re looking to achieve. So, let’s look at these three reset methods:

Resetting Wifi settings

You might want to connect your Nanoleaf Aurora smart bulb to a new wi fi network. If this is the case, you will need to reset the WiFi setting.

You will press and hold the Effect Select and Power buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The WiFi LED light will be on, and you will use the mobile app to add your smart bulb to the new Wi Fi network.

Soft Reset

This type of reset keeps your saved Effects. But it resets your WiFi and pairing information.

That means you will connect the smart bulb to your new Wi Fi network and a smart speaker of your choice.

A soft reset is easy – you will press and hold the Effect Select and Power buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.

The Wi Fi LED light on your smart bulb will light up after 5 seconds, then flash after 10 seconds.

This shows you that you’ve reset the smart bulbs, and you can pair it with a Hub or smart speaker for hands-free control.

Factory Reset

This type of reset erases everything from your smart bulb. Information such as Wi-Fi settings, pairing information, and saved Effects will all go.

It is easy to factory reset your Nanoleaf Aurora. You will disconnect the smart bulb from electricity.

Then press and hold the Effect Select and Power buttons simultaneously. You will then power on the smart bulb while still holding the buttons.
