Hi there, Great tips by the way and thank you.
I did have a question though. I’m hoping you can answer it for me since you seem to be pretty knowledgeable about
gardening. What’s the best herbicide to kill a garden full of various types
of plants? I’m trying to get rid of weeds without
damaging my vegetables. If you had some insight
I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi,
Thanks for visiting! I don’t really recommend using a herbicide to kill weeds while you have vegetables planted in the same area. The best way to get rid of those pesky weeds without harming your produce plants is to pull them out. Pouring a pot of boiling water over the weeds is the safest way to get rid of them because it doesn’t leave any residue. You can also spray some white vinegar directly over the weeds to kill them but make sure you won’t getting any on your vegetables because they’ll die if you do. If you really must use a herbicide, I suggest doing it during the off season.
Hope that helps!
